Title:
"The Last Astronaut" is a Science Fiction novel by Pel Torro (aka. Rev. Lionel Fanthorpe). It is one of the many (many) novels which he produced in the heyday of pulp science fiction - supposedly one every 12 days. The sleeve is also based on the book's cover (see here. In fact check out the gallery since all the images are wonderful)
I presume Cinnabar relates to the Cinnabar Moth rather than to the mineral.
